Power Cells are full motilene batteries in We Happy Few.

Buff TechFriendly Overview[]

A power cell is a metal cell that contains the special liquid, Motilene, which are used as fuel for a lot of the devices in Wellington Wells.

It's largely used to activate machinery such as Spankers, Joy Detectors, Redactors and much more. They're also used as a way to power some weapons.

If the player has an empty power cell, they can head to a motilene dispenser and fill up three power cells before needing to go to another dispenser, or waiting for a day to pass. It takes 8 seconds for a cell to be filled.

Buff Conformist Trivia[]

  • Unlike the current metal and blue surrounding colour of the container, the initial version of the power cell appeared to be in a brown casing.
    • When the Power Cell was introduced, the Small Power Cell had its container changed to metal with red as the surrounding colour.
